Sweet Sunday Links

I know I already posted today but I wanted to mention a few places that I love right now! These are a few places that I will be buying from after the holidays!

I love love love this site. They have some very special things for everyone you could need to buy things for. They ship internationally and their Express shipping can be here is 4-7 days so you could still make it by Christmas.

The prices are pretty good too. I'm looking at These for myself and they are $81.00 which is not too bad. Ive paid more for shoes and I've paid less. I love them! Shipping is reasonably priced too, it's about 12 bucks.

I'm also looking at this T for my son! Which would look super cute on him seeing as he is 3 and this movie came out LONG before he was born. Super cute!

Zazzle has a great selection of not only clothing and shoes but cards and other great items that would make great Christmas or birthday gifts. I will be doing a lot of my shopping here from now on.

StyleMint is own and operated by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. They design Limited addition Ts and sell them for great prices. How does it work? When you go and register at the site you set your style profile and they pick shirts that work with what you've given them. I picked a large range of different styles because I have multiple personality disorder when it comes to my style. I've picked out two that I love and wanted to talk to you about them.

The Lennox
I love a stripe. Even a horizontal stripe. Pair this with skinny jeans and a blazer and you are good to go for most occasions! The price? $29.99 like ALL of the shirts on Style Mint! I love that!

The Magnolia

I love this shirt. So cute with skinny jeans or a pencil skirt. Big wavy curls. Super Cute. Again it costs only $29.99 and this comes in black as well. This shirt can go from work to drinks to clubbing super easy. Pair it with some wide leg pants and go to work or wear it with some skinnies and go out with the girls and your good to go.

Whats the problem with StyleMint? They don't ship to Canada or any where else internationally. So, when I want something from them? I ship it to my sister in Connecticut and she ships it to me.

The last site I am mentioning is for one product only!

Well.ca is a site to buy health and beauty related products.

I recently found them when looking for somewhere I can get my hands on the Rimmel Lip Butters because I cant find them anywhere is NL. Plus they ship for free in Canada. The prices are OK. But I had to mention them because of the LIP BUTTERS!!!!

These are my links for the day. Check um out!

Urban Decay NAKED!

I buckled down and bought the Holy Grail of browns and coppers!

I bought the Urban Decay Naked Palette. And may I say, that I am in love! I thought that this may be a bit steep at $58 (Canadian, I think its 44 in the US) but I had a 10 off coupon for anything in Shoppers drug mart.  They sell some high end brands as well as the drugstore stuff.

With his Palette you get 12 fantastic shades that are a combination of Matte and Shimmer. They also include 4 shade that are only in the NAKED Palette. And you also get two dark shades that can be used to make a smokey eye and a few light shades that can be used as a highlight or a base.

You get a flat eye shadow brush that is super soft and great for packing on color. As well, you get a small size Primer Potion in a beige shade.

As you can see there is a large range of colors! I did some swatching! All the colors are warm and inviting and easy to blend with each other. You could easily use this palette and some mascara and be able to do your entire look. You could use the light shade for your highlight and he darker shades for liners. You could use the matte shades to do a natural eye and he simmer shades to do a more bold eye!

This is the best one step palette that i have ever had!

PRIMER POTION!

The palette come with a mini 7.5 oz bottle of Primer Potion. I love the bottle I comes in. I always think if the queen in chess when I see it.

The primer is really great but I do think that it may be a little expensive to buy on its own. I think its around 18 bucks US for the full version. I have tried many types of primers and I think the lower priced one are the same. I think the NYX HD Primer is just as good and about half the price.

I used this palette yesterday and did a dramatic eye look that I had seen on EmilyNoel83's YouTube page.

I think it turned out really nice. The pics don't do it justice as I took these at the end of the day.

I suggest everyone get this palette. It has to be the most universal palette that I have ever had and the most user friendly as well.

All in all I think its totally worth the money!

A+

Sunday Sweet Link Love

Its that time again. Time to talk about some great Links! I surf the net looking for great pages, deals and fun stuff to talk about all day long and I want to pass some off to you guys!

Pinterest is basically the big cork board you all wished you had when you were 10-14 years old. The object of the site is that you have many boards that you can pin he things you like to and than people can follow your boards. You can also follow other peoples boards. Each pic that you pin to your board is actually a link to the site that the picture is on so if you like a DIY project you can pin it to your board and go back and read it.  It's kind of like twitter with links!

I love it! I have found some awesome stuff on pinterest!
If you wanna check out my boards here I am : http://pinterest.com/MakeupMomma/

BeautyBay.com
I found BeautyBay last night when someone on twitter posted it when talking about a Stila palette.

The prices on BB are great. The Palette im planning to buy any day now is the Living the Life in Laguna Beach and it is $13.20 for 4 eye shadows, a blush, and a highlight. I think thats a great deal.

BB carries brands like Stila, Too Faced and Bare Minerals among many more and all the prices are great. I actually think the shipping might be faster but I will test that theory when I order the stila packs.

GlitzyQueen.com
GlitzyQueen is a Beauty Community that was inspired by YouTube gurus who blog and make videos.

Their mission statement is to build a ‘home’ for the Beauty Gurus where consumers can not only search and watch tutorials videos, they can also click straight on the link to purchase that product that they have just seen being use. This is a direct quote from the site. I have been playing around with it today and I thought I would post it in this link love.

I love the makeup channel. You can search videos and get a bunch from different gurus or you could search for a specific person.

I like it!

These are a few of the places that I have been playing around with as of this week. Check um out and comment below if you have a link that you want me to checkout!

Do It yourself Vanity Mirror! & Link Love!

I`ve decided to dedicate every Sunday to Links that I Love! I`m always trying to find new blogs to read or things to play with. In this entry you get some great blogs and a link to a Do It Yourself Vanity Mirror that i made and it`s awesome.
  • Beauty Broadcast - I have to say that I am a religious reader of Beauty Broadcast. Written by Emilynoel83 who has a background in journalism and a severe love of all things beauty. She makes you feel warm like your reading something a friend has written. Emily also has a YouTube Channel HERE where you can find some great tutorials and product reviews. She is amazing and I have to say that she`s inspired me to start this blog.
  • MakeupandBeautyblog.com - This is a new blog that I found a day or two ago. Its run by a woman named Karen who is awesome! Her blog is very informative and I love how organized she is. If you look on the right had side in the middle of the page she has 4 Tabs Popular, Bargain, How to and Link Love (this seems to be the universal term we all use for links that we love, haha). These tabs make it really easy to look for something that you need. If Ì`m in the mood for a How To I can do that. If I want to know whats popular I can do that. I also love how none of her blog post titles are short and sweet like the rest of us. They're all long and for some reason I find that really funny and sweet.
  • Jroseonline - This isn't a blog that i read a lot. But I did find the best thing on this blog.  I have always wanted one of those Beautiful Vanity Mirrors that you often see in Professional makeup artists videos and blog posts. (Emilynoel83 has one and im totally jealous!) Well, They can be quite exspensive, and as a mom i don`t have 300 bucks plus shipping to buy myself one and have it shipped to little Newfoundland Canada  So when I found this post by JRose I was ecstatic. Here is the address to her blog post about making your own Vanity Mirror!  The process is every simple and you only need a few Things. Check it out! Ive posted the pics of my New Handmade Vanity Mirror!

This is the mirror from the right. I`ve attached it to my desk. If you notice, the light bar is a bit higher than my mirror, but you can get different sizes. If I had my time back I would have measured. You can actually attach this to the wall if you have a flat style desk. I didn`t because I`m renting.

You can notice that i have a bunch of space behind the mirror to hold things hat i don't want to see all the time. Sponges, tissues and such. it`s great storage for unused items that i may only need a few times a year. You can see this below.

I love it. I`ve attached it to my desk in a way that I can remove it. We are planning on buying a house in the future so I wanted it to be able to come off the desk and be placed on the wall in the new place easily.

I have to say that it turned out well. It cost me less than $100.00, where a bought one would have been at least $300.00. I`m very proud of my electrical skills. Thanks JROSE you Rock!

Check out the links, And show some love!
